Joey Greene is an award-winning writer/director born and raised in Seattle, WA. He began working in the film industry as an assistant editor on the E!'s series WAGS Miami, CNBC's The Profit, and as lead editor in the unscripted development department for Marlon Wayans' Workaholics Entertainment. His first short film, Polaroid was Vimeo Staff Picked and featured by Eli Roth's Crypt TV. He is best known for writing and directing the Crypt TV short film, The Door in the Woods, which accrued a combined 26 million views in its first year. The film ultimately spawned the Peacock Series, The Girl in the Woods. His work has been featured in the Bloody Disgusting series, Bloody Bites, and the feature film, Horror Anthology: Volume 1. He is currently in production for a documentary about a series of alien encounters that happened in Washington State in 2023. He is represented by 4th Wall Management.
